Engineered for
Every Tone.
Medical-grade laser hair reduction built for a wide range of skin tones. The Fusion platform combines multiple wavelengths so each treatment can be tailored to your skin and hair — across Fitzpatrick types I–VI.
Three Wavelengths
Tailored to Your Skin
One Platform, Multiple Lasers
Fusion Light and Fusion Dark run on the InMode Optimas Max platform, drawing on three laser wavelengths — 755 nm Alexandrite, 810 nm Diode, and 1064 nm Nd:YAG. The 1064 nm wavelength is what allows darker skin tones to be treated safely.
The Right Setting for You
Because skin and hair differ from person to person, the wavelength and settings are selected for your Fitzpatrick type so the energy targets the hair follicle while sparing the surrounding skin. This is why Fusion is suitable across all skin tones, Fitzpatrick I through VI.
Targeting the Follicle
How Treatment Works
Reduction, Cycle by Cycle
The laser targets the pigment in the hair root and converts it to heat to disable the follicle. Because hair grows in cycles and only actively growing follicles can be treated at any one time, lasting reduction is built over a series of sessions rather than a single visit.
Why Preparation Matters
You will be asked to shave — not wax or pluck — before your appointment. Shaving clears the surface hair while leaving the root intact as the target. Avoiding sun and artificial tan beforehand helps reduce the risk of burns. The full prep steps are in the protocol below.
Comfort & Skin Safety
Fusion uses built-in contact cooling to help protect the skin surface and improve comfort as each pulse is delivered. As a physician-led clinic, treatments are planned around your skin tone and medical history, with appropriate wavelength selection for your Fitzpatrick type.
